Getting There

WHERE IS THE EVENT

Most of the Garrison Kingston Family Fun Fest activities will be taking place at CFB Kingston; which is located at 11 Navy Way in Kingston, Ontario. Activities will take place at the CFB Kingston Base Gymnasium, Sports Dome,  the Field House and HMCS Cataraqui. Activities will also be taking place on the RMCC Sports Field, and the Air Shows main viewing area will be located at Fort Henry.

 

So, you have now have decided to attend our event- Great!

Now let’s make sure you know where you are going.

There will be parking available on the McNaughton Parade Square; which is located on Apprentice Street located just off of HYW #2.  This is free parking and space is limited.

Kingston Transit will provide FREE transportation on all transit routes on the evening of the Family Fun Fest Community concert.  Just show your concert ticket when boarding!

To reach the CFB Parade Square from the Downtown Transfer Point: Riders can board the Route 12 (Hwy 15) or the 602 from the Downtown Transfer Point. After the concert, riders can return to the Downtown Transfer Point via the Route 12 (Kingston Centre) or the 601.

To reach the CFB Parade Square from the north end of Hwy 15: Riders can board the Route 12 (Kingston Centre) or the 601. After the concert, riders can return to bus stops along Hwy 15 via the Route 12 (Hwy 15.) or the 602.

VIA RAIL will have two of their mini VIA RAIL Canada Fun Express Trains on site which will provide shuttling services between some of the event attractions.

**Please note that Fort Henry Drive will be closed and that shuttles will be provided from Hwy#2 to the Air Show viewing areas from 1-4 pm.
